A movie that celebrates a firstborn girl child rather than the male.— OurFavOnlineDoctor ?? (@DrOlufunmilayo) January 5, 2019
A movie that eulogises culture rather than paint it as evil.
A movie that depicts family as working together rather than killing each other.#LionHeart
Genevieve is a gem & national jewel.
We must treasure her.
Just like UpNorth, LionHeart is another sterling example of how Nollywood can move from cliched storylines into a tool for promotion of our cultures, values, tourism & National unity.— FAVOUR ONYEOZIRI (GCFR) (@Rouvafe) January 4, 2019
Promoted Igbo language & culture.— OurFavOnlineDoctor ?? (@DrOlufunmilayo) January 5, 2019
Promoted Enugu state.
Promoted Innoson Motors.
Promoted family values.
Promoted the wisdom in African proverbs.
Promoted that every child matters regardless of gender.
Promoted the good of kind deeds even to strangers.#LionHeart is exceptional.
Lionheart is a beautiful but understated movie. Pete Edochie's interpretation of the role reminds me of his Okonkwo persona and it was nostalgic and refreshing to watch. Even more I loved how Nkem Owoh was able to mellow down his comic side but still delivered on the jokes -— Moji Delano (@MojiDelanoBlog) January 5, 2019
I finally saw “Lionheart” the movie last night, and boy am I glad to be Igbo!— Antoinette (@tosdbaby) January 3, 2019
Is there something we can do to keep Okonkwo (Pete Edochie) alive forever and ever?
We cannot afford to lose a daddy & an actor like him, God please keep keeping him for us n’aha Jesus, ??
I have just finished watching the movie, #LionHeart, by Genevieve Nnaji & my rating in one word is, PERFECT.— Jeff Okoroafor (@JeffOkoroafor) January 3, 2019

Lionheart...finally a Netflix film with Nigerian accents that don’t make me cringe. Thanks.— kimdk ?? (@theKim_dk) January 4, 2019
Lionheart promotes gender equality, it's a good feminist movie. And the messages were passed subtly, the actors all brought their A games. Nobody was trying to outshine the other.— Mr Boro (@iamMrBoro) January 4, 2019
